This is an updated color version of our old “Focus, focus!” drawing. It is still relevant when forming teams or working on personal projects.
Teamwork is vital in any organization and productive meetings are very important in team dynamics. Meetings provide the ground to move from one stage to another. In the forming stage we have to brainstorm and find the proper direction to fulfill our team objectives. It is time to focus and find the lighthouse to ensure a safe navigation. This was our first meeting to find the focus to bring more underrepresented high school students to the computing disciplines programs offered by our college. This picture fits in any forming team. Focus, focus! (Feb 2009 – http://www.managementadventures.org)
Undercover Boss TV programs widely discussed in the Capstone course were the inspiration to create the Undercover Professor series. You can watch first videos in www.drjosechannel.com in Undercover Professor playlist. Several managers in FSCJ and other organizations were interviewed in a casual, impromptu and almost “undercover” way to know their biggest management challenge.
Now we are starting a new series of interviews with same question plus extra “undercover” questions. A new color version of our classic cartoon will open our 2.0 series. New videos will be feature in our Global Learning News channel (www.globallearningnews.tv)
From “O Brave New World” to #EarthToParis. Our #TEDxFSCJ Theme took us to #TEDxBeaconSt to be #AdventureCatalysts. We joined this #GlobalAdventure to bring our message to the #ClimateChangeConference #COP21 in Paris. We hope to find a bright sun after the storms.
